Waterbury Hospital Waterbury Hospital RN's & LPN's held a contract summit in January to begin preparations for their negotiations. They had speakers from AFSCME in Washington, DC, as well as Henry Nicholas, NUHHCE President and Sonia Moseley, NUHHCE Vice President and Secretary-Treasurer United Nurses of America - California. The Nurses began negotiations with the hospital in March.

Norwalk Board of Education The Nurses are now negotiating their contract with management.

Naugatuck VNA The Nurses are now negotiating their contract with management.

Greater Bristol VNA The Nurses, Home Health Aides and Clerical Staff are also now negotiating their contract with management.

Congratulations to Midstate VNA Home Health Aides and Homemakers who settled their FIRST CONTRACT on July 1, 2000. They were able to negotiate increases in vacation and holiday time, time and a half holiday pay and maintain a fair pension.
